What is your business all about?
Carmen Automotive (a.k.a. “Carmen”) provides “Data-as-a-Service” to our enterprise users in the automotive space (including insurers, oil & gas, and asset owners). They leverage our data and services as the baseline for operations and to perform better outreach to customers,
Before Carmen, our enterprise users had no direct means to engage with their customers other than digital marketing or traditional advertising. Carmen’s platform now allows them to do so in a seamless, non-obstrusive manner.
What made you decide to accept investment from TRIVE?
TRIVE has understanding of our tech offering. However, the truly important factor was not about understanding the tech, but seeing our vision as we challenge the norms to bring new concepts and products to the market.
How TRIVE has aided you?
The importance of seeking a right investment partner cannot be overstated. There are many investors that will share with you how they can help. But the real challenge is actually walking the talk. TRIVE: What we saw in the team
We got to know Sem when he joined the incubator we ran, Angel’s Gate Advisory. Sem is a seasoned technologist and entrepreneur. Most of all, Sem showed resilience as he pushed ahead through difficulty rather than taking up other opportunities that came his way as others in his shoes may have done. We were sold on Sem’s vision for the automotive industry as a whole to be connected.
